My recent stay at the Old Schoolhouse Inn was truly a delightful experience. the charming design of the 10 rooms, each named after an American President of Ulster descent, added a unique touch to our accommodation. The proximity to Mahee Island Golf Club, with its stunning views over Strangford Lough, provided a perfect opportunity for a relaxing round of golf. the Inn's location near Castle Espie Wetland Centre and Strangford Lough also allowed us to explore the local wildlife and natural beauty. The restaurant in the old schoolhouse building was full of character, and the food was truly exceptional, highly regarded as some of the best in the country. Overall, the Old Schoolhouse Inn proved to be the perfect base for our trip, offering comfortable and air-conditioned rooms with free wifi throughout the property. the amenities, such as complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour front desk, and a picnic area, ensured that our stay was seamless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a relaxing and charming retreat in Newtownards.
